The 126 Restaurant building is a multi-story commercial restaurant venue featuring prominent open-air upper tiers, traditional roof eave details, and a distinctive warm architectural facade. Commercial hospitality buildings face continuous operational demands: exterior envelopes must endure intense UV radiation and driving monsoon rain without fading, dining spaces require highly scrubbable and hygienic wall surfaces, commercial wet preparation areas require zero-leakage waterproofing, and exposed exterior steel elements demand long-lasting atmospheric corrosion defense. Kontech supplied an integrated material package combining Jotun architectural finishes, AkzoNobel protective coatings, and Sika construction chemicals.

A premium interior emulsion providing rich, radiant color depth with an elegant sheen finish. Formulated for superior washability, allowing restaurant staff to wipe away food splatters, grease, and scuff marks while maintaining high indoor air quality for dining guests.
3. Direct-to-Metal Steelwork Protection (International Paint):
DTM Polyurethane Coating: Interthane 3230G
A high-performance, two-component, direct-to-metal (DTM) glossy acrylic polyurethane. Applied to structural metal fixtures, railings, and exterior canopy framing to deliver primer-plus-finish corrosion defense, fast drying, and outstanding gloss and UV resistance without requiring a separate intermediate coat.
4. Waterproofing, Joint Sealing & Grouting Chemistry (Sika):
Wet Area Waterproofing: SikaTop®-107 Seal KH
Two-component, polymer-modified cementitious slurry mortar applied across kitchen preparation floors, washrooms, and service balconies to establish a seamless, impermeable moisture barrier under tile finishes.
Multipurpose Joint Sealing & Bonding: Sikaflex®-11 FC+
High-performance polyurethane elastic adhesive sealant utilized for window perimeter seals, floor-to-wall expansion joints, and architectural cladding joints to permanently prevent water ingress.
Precision Structural Grouting: SikaGrout®-214 KH
