Project Overview:
Standing directly on the coastal shoreline at Ream Beach, this traditional Khmer-style tiered pavilion shrine is exposed to severe marine conditions. Waterfront structures in direct proximity to the sea face continuous exposure to airborne salt spray, severe wave-splash humidity, and relentless tropical UV radiation. Standard decorative masonry paints in such high-salinity marine zones frequently blister, peel, or succumb to salt efflorescence and mold growth. To ensure lasting preservation of the ornate pediments, multi-tier spires, and intricate relief moldings, the contractor utilized an industrial marine coating specification engineered to form an impermeable barrier against maritime weathering.
